Awana Update

     On September 23, 2009, Maranatha Baptist Church will be starting up their AWANA program for the school year.  We are very excited to have AWANA begin and look forward to all the school age children that will be in attendance.  This year is going to be a blast!  There will be a different theme each week, tons of fun events throughout the year, and a wonderful opportunity to memorize the Word of God.  Also, we have a variety of new games we will be playing, a chance to compete at the AWANA Grand Prix, the Bible spelling bee, and hopefully the opportunity to go the the AWANA Olympics.  the AWANA helpers are excited about this new year and want to encourage ALL students to attend.  Bring your Bible, your brain, your AWANA vest, your friends, and all your energy.  We'll see you in a few weeks.
