Our Church is made up of individuals who have found Jesus Christ, Someone we love very much because we believe He first loved us. He loved us so much He was willing to take the punishment we deserved when He died on the cross.
Romans 6:23 tells us that “the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
We willingly admit that we deserve that death as sinners, but the members of Maranatha have committed to following Christ by faith, believing there is no other possible way to find forgiveness of sins and, instead of death, eternal life.
By faith we believe Jesus Christ has extended grace and mercy to us because of repentance and because we believe Christ died, was buried, and rose again thus conquering death. He made that possible when He satisfied every demand of God’s righteousness through His shed blood and secured a way for His own righteousness to be credited to our account.
We believe Christ has graciously made us a part of His body. As a body of believers, we have united together for the purpose of bringing glory to God through the advancement of the work of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is active today and reaches out to you - will you follow?
