An exciting year of Sunday School lies ahead in 2010.  There are a lot of things to be excited about as we start the second decade of the new millennium.  This year in Sunday School you will find romance, adventure, wealth and action in ways you've never experienced before.  Let me give you a peek into what to expect at Maranatha SS2010.

We are taking a long look this year and have developed a program for the entire year so you can plan your growth path better and make the most of each class offering.  This year there will be three core classes that will be offered multiple times during the year.  These classes will be prerequisites for courses that will be offered next year so make sure that you plan to take each of the core classes some time this year so that you will have more options available to you next year.

Sword Skills Track 

We are starting a Bible mastery track that will focus in on learning more about how to study the Bible and how to dig deeper to mine the treasures that God provides in His Word.  Sword Skills is a graded class that will allow you to progress at your own pace and dig as deep as you want at each level.  Having the other participants to encourage you during your journey makes this track a perfect match for someone daring in heart and willing to challenge themselves.

Book Study Track 

For those of you that enjoy our book studies we have a track that will help you through the entire Bible a book at a time.  You will be able to walk through the scripture and watch God work with His people throughout history.

OutReach Track 

There is also a track that focuses in on reaching out.  OutReach track will help you to fully understand your faith and be prepared to give an answer for the hope that lives in you with gentleness and respect.  Whether it's a family member, neighbor, coworker, or the waitress at the restaurant where you happen to eat lunch, this track will prepare you to be bold in sharing your faith.

I recommend that you sample all the tracks and our schedule will help you to plan out your growth path for the year.  Look forward to an exciting year of growth and spiritual development here at Maranatha!
