PAINESVILLE, Ohio- by Olivia Hoffman Cedarville’s goal and defense resulted in a 1-0 win for G-MAC at Lake Erie.

The Lady Jackets, 6-2-1 overall and 4-1 G-MAC, won for the third time in a row.

Hoffman found a long ball in the 75th minute, dribbled 30 yards and slid it inside the far post for his fourth goal of the season.

Brooke Ackley made three saves and finished with his third shutout.

CU recorded shooting margins of 12-4 overall and 9-3 on goal.

Stinger Notes:

  • Cedarville attempted more corner kicks (7-1) and was called for more fouls (8-1).
  • Hoffman has scored in three consecutive games and is the tenth player in school history to reach 20 career goals.
  • Ackley’s 13th career shutout puts his fourth on CU’s all-time list.
  • It was the team’s first road game in three weeks (Lee) and first in the G-MAC.
  • The Lady Jackets have won all seven games against Lake Erie.
