Services for Melinda Kay Samples, 63, are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Tate Baptist Church with interment in Henry Cemetery.

Visiting hours are Wednesdays from noon until service time at the Tate Baptist Church.

Mrs. Samples died on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. She was born in Corinth on January 3, 1959 to RD and Kathryn Hathcock Samples. She was a member of the Tate Baptist Church and the Sonshine Sunday School Class. She was also involved in the food ministry of the Tate Baptist Church and taught Sunday School. She has been a caregiver for over 20 years. She loved her dog, June Bug.

She was predeceased by her father, RD Samples; his grandparents, Jimmy & Mary Lou Hathcock and Porter & Lula Samples; and other aunts and uncles.

The survivors are his mother, Kathryn Samples; one sister, Michelle Samples; and a host of family and friends.

The bearers are Randy Johnson, Lew Johnson, Jeff Johnson, Brandon Quinn, Richart Tenhet and Phillip Hathcock.

Boyfriend. Mickey Trammell will officiate the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Tate Baptist Church pantry.

Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
