Shirley Feduccia

On Sunday, June 5, 2022, Shirley Virginia Thomas Feduccia, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, died at the age of 81. Shirley was born on September 28, 1940, in Winnsboro, Louisiana, to Jim and Garland Mercer Thomas. . She grew up on a cotton farm in Jigger, Louisiana, and attended school near Fort Necessity. She and her husband raised two sons, Bedford and Larry, and a daughter, Sue, near Natchez, MS. Shirley has dedicated her love and life to caring for her home and family. Shirley also had a passion for flower gardening; the daylilies were her favorite, the divisions of which she always so graciously shared with her family, friends and neighbors. His beautiful flower gardens provided an inviting and peaceful respite from public places such as retirement homes and the private gardens of his friends and family. The American Hemerocallis Society has a registered daylily cultivar named in his honor. Shirley was predeceased by her parents, Jim and Garland Thomas; his sister, Claudine Thomas; and his brother, Roy Thomas. Left to cherish her memory are her three children, Bedford (Sondra), Sue and Larry (Dottie); his six grandchildren, Trey (April), Cassie (Dusty), Tim (Jessica), Tony (Audrey), Jacob (Kelsi) and James; his two great-granddaughters, Grace and Lilly; two brothers Earl and Charles Thomas; his two sisters Ruby Britt and Irene Williams; and his nephews and nieces. The family requests that any memorial gifts be directed to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.

Harold Glenn Jones

Harold Glenn Jones’ funeral will be held Wednesday, June 15 at 11:30 a.m. at Clear Branch Baptist Church, with interment at Heuck’s Retreat Baptist Church Cemetery. Visits take place from 10:30 a.m. until service time.

Mr. Jones, 80, of Brookhaven, died June 12, 2022. He was born in Natchez, MS on August 10, 1941, to Robert Lee Jones and Hazel Elizabeth Hutto Jones. He graduated from Roxie High School in 1960 and continued his education at Copiah-Lincoln Community College, graduating in 1962. Mr. Jones worked for Armstrong Rubber Company & Fidelity Tire for 33 years and he also worked with Wal Mart Distribution Center for over 20 years. .

He is predeceased by his first wife, Eloise Coker Jones, and by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Judy A. Jones; son, Stan Jones (Dawn); daughters, Kim Maddox (Lee), Kristi Watts (Joshua); brother, Robert Jones; three grandchildren, Trussell Graham Jones, Cole Michael Watts and Emelia Ann Maddox. He is also survived by a host of other loving family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made at Clear Branch Baptist Church, 2166 Clear Branch Lane, Wesson, MS 39191.
