Charles Dallas Twigg, 77, of Cleveland, passed away peacefully on Friday morning January 14, 2022. He was born in Abilene, Tx. on June 19, 1944. He lived most of his life in Rockford, Il. He lived in Cleveland for the last 15 years of his life.

He was predeceased by his father, Merte C. Twigg; mom, Margaret G. Clacyssens; and his sister, Connie James.

He leaves behind two cherished daughters, Angela (Phil) Collier, of Cleveland and Teresa Compton, of Tucson, Az.; and four grandchildren, Nathan and Timothy Collier, Emily and Daniel Compton.

He graduated from St. Thomas Catholic High School, Rockford, Il. in 1962. After high school, he served in the U.S. Army Reserves for six years, starting in Fort Leonard, Mo. He then attended the Toledo School of Meat Cutting. He worked for the USPS for 10 years, then in the industrial plumbing supply business to finish his career.

His relationship with the Lord was very important to him. He also loved his family, music and playing billiards. He had a fun sense of humor and enjoyed sharing laughs with others. He was a man of few words, but when he spoke, you knew his words had meaning.

In lieu of flowers, he would like others to donate to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The family will have a private service at a later date.
